The last 2 months of the school year came to soon  that at the glimpse of it made me realize that school  days is going to end soon. It’s not easy to sore a home  run and be done with all the school requirements. Need to stay focus and manage my time- Joggling between. Reviewing for examinations ,practicing for performance Finding researches and photoshop requirements .But all  Of this things must be done one at a time or else STRESS Would burn me out. I am also pretty excited with the juniors ball where I can unwind with friends and put all the work of school behind for sometime. Lastly, Moving up program as the last activity for my Junior high school days gives me mixed reactions. It is the culmination of our hard work . A reward that best fit my 4 years of ISNHS. Thank You Lord, my family and friends. You were the best support I ever had to pursue my dreams . To God be the Glory!

ISNHS foundation day , is one of the most awaited and busiest occasion celebrated in school. It is a time to commemorate the birth of our school. There is a great deal of activities , boundless excitement and anticipation that awaits participants in different activities. Preparation starts ahead of time. Meetings about set of activities for a 2 day program are done. Alumni of the school are enjoined to attend the celebration. During this time they can extent their help and raise their funds for a project proposal for the school. There are two event highlights . The coronation of Mr. and Ms. ISNHS 2019 and field demonstration which is participated by the Junior and Senior High school students plus the faculty. The activities are commenced and winners are announced afterwards. Program usually closes with acknowledgement of participants of events and extending gratitude to stake holders of the school.

Live your values , pursue your dreams and follow your passions. This is the way we should think for us to have the best future . Knowing ones dream would influence and drive a person to work hard and achieve what he desires to fulfill in the future. The dream that we have would deserve as our goal, aim and direction in life. We dream for a better situation of ourselves and our families, dream for better financial lives and better emotional or physical lives. It is powerful to dream because we have the ability to pursue those dreams and layout plans and strategies to achieve. We need the support of our parents, friends and relatives to make dreams come true. Have faith in God and in yourself beauty of their dreams.

Kannawidan Ilocos Festival is an annual festivity celebrated by the province of Ilocos Sur. It has the aim of creating awareness on the province cultural heritage, practices traditions and a time to feature agriculture and industry products of the province. Aside from the different activities , it is also a commemoration of the anniversary of Ilocos Sur as a province by virtue of the Royal desire signed on February 2, 1818. This year the said affair started last January 29 and will last up to February 17, 2019. It always starts with a mass , procession and virtual performance of the cultural communities of I locos Sur who have the opportunity to display their talents and indigenous costumes . Delicacies showcased in the trad e fair are longganisa, bagnet, garlic , bibingka, tinubong, basi and other one town one product. Many feel the task of positive change is impossible. However, I believe each and everyone of us can make a difference. And we can start at  this moment. Changing the world begins with improving who we are now on the inside. We have a unique identity and own distinct thoughts . These thoughts propel us to act in a positive direction, we can improve our actions and thus our character. I can improve the world by consciously looking ground and thinking   at every opportunity . The most powerful way isn’t simply by doing one thing but instead is a way of life. It begins with self improvements and concludes with making kind acts on instinctive part of my daily life. All of us have room for improvements. We should learn how to open new doors and grab opportunities because they can only happen once. Let us learn to create big steps towards success of one’s self and one’s nation. For we always say that the success of one is the success of all. One for all and all for one. ...

Everyday of our life is a new beginning . It is not just the first day of the year . We can make changes or resolutions not only on a new year but any day. People are forced to start a new life, a new person after a failure and break –up. People want to change their lives with the aim of having more success in life.     As a student we look at ways to improve ourselves. Others’ decide to improve fitness and change outlook in life.     Me? I plan to try something now and spread my wings . Have new experiences and self discovery. Probably join more clubs and enhance my physical skill through sports activities. In addition to this is a big BUT…still stay committed to getting good grades.     Can I do it and carry it out?     Initially ,its difficult but having new things to look forward to can be something exciting. This 3rd quarter has been so far the shortest and jampacked weeks for me. Although it only totaled to around 4 weeks or 30 days, many things have to be managed and handled properly in terms of studying, working in subject requirements plus the excitement of the Christmas season  and holidays. This quarter tested my management skills and study skills wherein I sleep late to  study and waking up early to beat the 6 am classes. This 3rd quarter's highlight was the Christmas program. A chance to share love, blessings and give gifts to teachers and friends. A chance to show gratitude n appreciation for our teachers efforts. Most especially a chance to take a break from academics and have a program with games, laughter and food. Happiness and oneness was the end of the year for me which  falls on the 3rd quarter.   A proud Markov.

Christmas is a festival celebrated by everyone in the entire world. It brings joy and happiness for all. It is a time for prayers and meditation, a time to eat , drink and be merry. Children waits for their gifts from Santa Claus. Apart from the enjoyment felt this season we should understand the true essence of these occasions. It should remind us the importance of family and friends no matter what our status in life without these people , we feel lonely. No riches can substitute for them. Christmas commemorates the birth of Jesus who preached loved , brotherhood and forgiveness .  If people love one another regardless of nationality , race, socio-economic status and gender will be no disputes , people would learn to forgive and be happy.     Every individual are born the same way. Everyone then deserve the same right and acceptance provided. We follow laws and comply with the norms set to protect all individuals.    ‎In our society people are faced with problems on discrimination and injustice because of race, skin color, culture that make some inferior or lower than others. Another issue also is the differences in beliefs and ideals along with gender and lifestyle preferences.    ‎To correct inequality in society , business owners should stop refusing to serve chants bases on sexual orientation.     Children are the future of every nation. Children's Month is celebrated to create awareness among people to train children in the right way for them to grow up and become responsible citizens contributing towards the future of the nation.    ‎Children should be provided with their basic needs like education,proper nutrition, protection and security from harm and abuses.    ‎But present situation shows problems of children stricken with poverty. Teenagers or youngsters nowadays have more interest on the use of gadgets like mobile phones,Ipads, tablets and many more . Most of their time is spent browsing over Facebook, Instagram,Twitter  etc. and  even playing games. Due to this trend among millennials , careful attention and communication should be done by parents and guardians to their children. The use of this gadgets have effects on health,emotional and social aspects of a person . With gadget use ,they tend to be solitary, they play by themselves, don't talk and mingle with other people including love ones. They are unable to express how they fall. To the extent of even destroying the eyes causing blurring and decreased visual activity. Furthermore, with internet access teenagers can go to prohibited websites that may cause problems like pornography. The Department of Education official theme for 2018 National Reading Month is Pagbasa : Susi sa Magandang Kinabukasan. Reading has a powerful effect on our capacity to learn ,develop and grow. Many of us are aware of the positive results that come with a reading habit. But why are more people especially young students not reading more books? Probably because these people do not put value on reading and may have not not graduated from high school or college. They do not see the correlation between reading and success. Another reason that prevents reading is the busy schedule. But if we look at this students they have a lot of time to watch TV, browse social media rather than prioritizing reading which has a huge return of investments. We must listen to what Confucius said " No matter how busy you think, you must find time for reading or surrender yourself, o self-chosen esteem.  The Second Quarter tested our patience, determination creativity and management skills . There were many class disruptions brought about by typhoons and heavy rains that led to cancellation of classes. This brought about limited time for us to work on subject requirements . The gap for examinations and beating deadlines for projects was too close.     There were many sleepless nights just to work overtime . Sometimes our body felt too tired at the end of the day but must still have the energy to study for the next days quiz and exams.     Barely do we have the time to do other chores in our own homes because of the bulk of work hard we need to finish. Some projects needed extra money for printing. Without support from parents , life would have not been good and went on smoothly.     My learning for this quarter is to stay determined despite of time pressure, relax and manage time to be able to submit requirements on time.

  Every year the United Nations and its member nations observe UN day every October . United Nations day in schools. Students dress up different National costumes or traditional clothing of different nations.     Aside from this   celebrations we should   be aware that UN day is worth celebrating . One is to remember the day UN was built after the World War 2. The founding of UN after the tragic World War 2 means that every nation has the idea of achieving peace and can be seen in the UN emblem.
