The Philippines is the 4th most at risk in terms of climate related disasters such as typhoons, sea level rise, flooding and extreme temperature. Our country experiences 20 typhoons annually and at times low intensity earthquakes. Our country men have mixed reactions and emotions towards this situation. But what comes out of this bad situation is the character of Filipinos which is being resilient . What is resiliency? Resiliency is defined as being hopeful , happy and positive while experiencing unfavorable and hard situations such as calamities. Filipinos see something good in every bad situation. Despite loss of properties , death of a love one, damaged crops they still remain strong and go on with life. Filipinos always find a way to recover and stand up after calamity.  This is made possible with humanitarian assistance and numerous relief organization who work together to provide immediate response to disaster stricken area. Victory : The Product of Patience and Determination

I never imagined and expected that a sudden change in our class schedule would be happening at the First Quarter of  S.Y 2018-2019. The morning and afternoon shift for Grade 9 and 10 students created a big impact and change in the school life of every Ilocos Sur National High school for the teachers, students and school general . Teachers time  and schedule as to be arranged and student classroom lackings be addressed. In the beginning of the schedule , it made me hard of a little to adjust because of a later time to got to school as well as finishing classes at 7:00 in the evening. It also interrupted problem of getting wet and sick of there is a heavy rain pour after classes. But all of this situations and circumstances did not hinder my determination to study. I applied time management and gone body clock for waking up. I needed to do this because of other requirements needed to be submitted before the deadline. Filipino ang ating pambansang wika. Ito ay ginagamit natin sa lahat ng sulok ng Pilipinas. Nabibigkis ito sa lahat ng mamamayan upang maging isa sa pangarap , diwa at adhikain. Ang wika ng paraaan upang masabi ang nasa isip at maipadama ang damdamin lalim ng pagkatao , katangian ng kapaligiran , kultura at sining . Naibahagi rin ang ating opinyon at obserbasyon sa komunidad . Sa taong ito, naging tema ang Filipino : Wika ng Saliksik dahil sa kagustuhang palaganapin ang wikang Filipino sa iba't ibang larangan ng karunungan lalo na sa agham at matematika. Habang lumalago ang kaalaman sa agham at matematika kailangan din lumago ang Wikang Filipino sa pagsusulat ng mga salita at pangungusap. Pwede rin gamitin ito sa mga blog o website. Gayundin sa pagtuturo sa mga estudyante. Sa ganitong paraan nagagamit at naitatala sa libro, pahayagan, internet ang mga nasaliksik na kaalaman at maipapasa sa mga babasa na mga susunod na henerasyon.
