   Science Month is celebrated with the aim to recognize the contribution of science and technology in the development of the country and gain support for the public and private institutions for its sustainable development.
    Innovations in science and technology plays a role in building great nations, spreading global modernization and shaping the  world we live in.
    Many schools and colleges host science exhibit , live project models, speech and essay competition to encourage students about science and technology, technological products and research outputs. It is also about showing people what is possible through science and technology.
    This year’s theme is “Science and Technology for a sustainable future” Creating Knowledge and understanding it through science helps us find solutions to our present economic, social and environmental challenges.
    A country can achieve sustainable development with the help of international scientific corporation. Participation of citizens in science creates societies where people are   knowledgeable on how to make own professional, personal ,political choices and ethical choices. Government should not show reluctance to make political and social changes necessary for grown in production and consumption.
    Let us educate ourselves with latest development and teach other the importance of developing a sustainable future.

Victory : The Product of Patience and Determination

I never imagined and expected that a sudden change in our class schedule would be happening at the First Quarter of  S.Y 2018-2019. The morning and afternoon shift for Grade 9 and 10 students created a big impact and change in the school life of every Ilocos Sur National High school for the teachers, students and school general . Teachers time  and schedule as to be arranged and student classroom lackings be addressed. In the beginning of the schedule , it made me hard of a little to adjust because of a later time to got to school as well as finishing classes at 7:00 in the evening. It also interrupted problem of getting wet and sick of there is a heavy rain pour after classes. But all of this situations and circumstances did not hinder my determination to study. I applied time management and gone body clock for waking up. I needed to do this because of other requirements needed to be submitted before the deadline. Christmas is a festival celebrated by everyone in the entire world. It brings joy and happiness for all. It is a time for prayers and meditation, a time to eat , drink and be merry. Children waits for their gifts from Santa Claus. Apart from the enjoyment felt this season we should understand the true essence of these occasions. It should remind us the importance of family and friends no matter what our status in life without these people , we feel lonely. No riches can substitute for them.
