 The Second Quarter tested our patience, determination creativity and management skills . There were many class disruptions brought about by typhoons and heavy rains that led to cancellation of classes. This brought about limited time for us to work on subject requirements . The gap for examinations and beating deadlines for projects was too close.     There were many sleepless nights just to work overtime . Sometimes our body felt too tired at the end of the day but must still have the energy to study for the next days quiz and exams.     Barely do we have the time to do other chores in our own homes because of the bulk of work hard we need to finish. Some projects needed extra money for printing. Without support from parents , life would have not been good and went on smoothly.     My learning for this quarter is to stay determined despite of time pressure, relax and manage time to be able to submit requirements on time.

  Every year the United Nations and its member nations observe UN day every October . United Nations day in schools. Students dress up different National costumes or traditional clothing of different nations.     Aside from this   celebrations we should   be aware that UN day is worth celebrating . One is to remember the day UN was built after the World War 2. The founding of UN after the tragic World War 2 means that every nation has the idea of achieving peace and can be seen in the UN emblem. We celebrate United Nations Day because of cultural diversity whole heartedly .     We should remember that United Nations works for the entire human family of seven billion people and cares for the earth , our one and only home.     When celebrating UN day; we should bear in mind and hearts that UN saves lives , helps of sees and fights climate change and promote sustainable development.     The wearing of different costumes only symbolizes unity, and acknowledgement of other natio

Teachers are the backbone of a country as they dedicate their whole life is to make us educated and good human beings .       In today’s age teachers are called as “sir”, “Ma’am”, “Madam” and “guro”. To give tribute to our teachers we celebrate Teacher’s Day every Fifth of September every year. This   is done to show gratitude and acknowledge the role of teachers in a student’s life, primarily in molding the personality of a person.     Schools in our country finds a way to celebrate Teacher’s Day by organizing some activities like games, competitions of singing, dancing and acting. On this occasion , students offer flowers ,greeting cards or some special gifts to their favorite teachers to show their affection and respect towards their teachers.     A teacher’s role in a students life can never be underestimated.                           Science Month is celebrated with the aim to recognize the contribution of science and technology in the development of the country and gain support for the public and private institutions for its sustainable development.     Innovations in science and technology plays a role in building great nations, spreading global modernization and shaping the   world we live in.     Many schools and colleges host science exhibit , live project models, speech and essay competition to encourage students about science and technology, technological products and research outputs.
